Feng Shui in a nutshell:
Feng Shui (or Wind and Water) is the study of the flow of Chi (Qi) or energies in our environment. Chi is defined as the "life force" that exists within all beings and we can loosely translate Chi to energies even though it is more than that. Everything and anything can emit Chi. For instance a nice flower or a tidy house emits good Chi and on the other hand, un-kept objects such as dead flowers or a messy house emit bad Chi.
It is believed that Feng Shui can play a role in our lives from health to wealth. There are houses that are bad no matter what type of cures you try to apply, and there are very lucky houses and everything in between. Feng Shui basically deals with our Earth Luck.
Some areas in which Feng Shui may be of help are:
-
Creating a Harmonious Environment
-
Dissolving Disputes
-
Finding Romance
-
Increasing Income
-
Improving Health
It is believed that the flow of Chi is activated or affected by forms or shapes, especially water, which can affect the well-being of people in their environment. That is why aquariums, fountains or moving water play an important role in Feng Shui.
In the Flying star method we take into consideration the forms and shapes (trees, mountains, pools, ...) around a house, the house directional and the year it was built to come up with the Feng Shui map of your home.
Remedies are suggested accordingly.
